The Lady Red soccer team claimed a commanding 3-0 win against the Guymon Tigers Tuesday.
Senior Mayra Hernandez found the net early in the first half with an assist from senior Arely Molina.
In the second half, Hernandez once again found the net, doubling her tally in the 64th minute. Junior Nicole Catalan also found the scoreboard by capitalizing on a rebound opportunity from senior Angela Garcia after a free kick from freshman Lily Santiago.
Senior goalkeeper Ashley Acevedo and the Lady Red defense celebrated the shutout over the Tigers.
Liberal improved to 4-3-1 record for the season, 1-2 in the WAC.
