william briscoeWilliam F. “Fat Frank” Briscoe, 73, died Saturday, April 20, 2019 at his home. 

He was born Oct. 16, 1945 in Liberal, KS. 

He served in the US Army from January 1965 to January 1969, posted in Berlin, Germany. 

He worked for Tennison Brothers Sheet Metal for several years. 

His enjoyed riding his motorcycle and had a talent for custom motorcycle painting.

Survivors include his wife of 47 years, Shirley; daughters Leslie Blackshear (Neil), and Katt Houser; brother, Myron Heston (Janet); sister, Lynnette Minturn (Dan); eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and many motorcycle brothers and sisters. 

He was preceded in death by his mother, Lily Fern Heston; and his father, Raymond S. Heston.

• There will be a Celebration of Life service from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, May 18 at KANSEL, 1650 N Fairview Street in Wichita.
