Willard Dee Zinn, 90, died Sunday, June 16, 2019 at Alderbrook Village in Arkansas City. 

He was born March 17, 1929 in Texas County, Oklahoma to William Dee Boaldin and Mildred Pearl (Zinn) Boaldin. 

He married Betty Glazebrook in San Francisco Nov. 16, 1951. She preceded him in death.

He graduated from Liberal High School. 

He served his country in the US Army during the Korean War. After his honorable discharge from the US Army, he returned to Liberal. 

He retired as a truck driver from Yellow Freight Trucking. 

Survivors include daughters, Cindy (Don) Payne, Apex, N.C., and Susie (Joe) Gutierrez, Winfield; granddaughter, Lindsay (Sean) Bratt, Kansas City, Mo.; grandsons: Chris (Jen) Payne, Greensboro, N.C., Brandon (Audrey) Payne, Harrisburg, N.C., Nick Gutierrez, Chicago, and Michael (Alley) Gutierrez, Searey, Ark.; three great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson. 

He was also preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Fred Zinn.

• Private graveside serves will take place at a later date in Liberal. 

Baker Funeral Home in Wichita Chapel is handling arrangements.
