wanda vesterGARDEN CITY – Wanda F. Vester, 86, died Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at the Garden Valley Retirement Village in Garden City. 

She was born July 29, 1932 to Herman and Iva Phillipy Smith in Tribune. 

She married Carl H. Vester Sept. 3, 1950 in Tribune. He survives.

She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Garden City.

Survivors also include three daughters: Debra McNaught (Richard), Garden City, Sheryl Clevenger (Steve), Broomfield, Colo., and Brenda Engler (Terry), Liberal; sisters, Jean Cobb, Saguache, Colo., and Joyce Nemechek, Tribune; nine grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers; and two sisters.

• Memorial services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, March 16, 2019 at Price and Sons Funeral Home in Garden City with Terry Engler presiding.

Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, March 15, 2019 at Price and Sons Funeral Home in Garden City.

Memorials are suggested to the First United Methodist Church or St. Catherine Hospice in care of Price and Sons Funeral Home, 620 N. Main  St. Garden City, KS 67846.
