Steve Dale Coffman, 67, died Tuesday, Aug. 7, 2018 at his home in Liberal.

He was born Aug. 13, 1950 to Kermit and Virginia Williams Coffman in Liberal. 

He married Sharon Ulery Sept. 1, 1968 at the First United Methodist Church Chapel in Liberal. She survives.

He graduated Liberal High School in 1968, and studied one year at Liberal Vocational Technology School. 

He was a member of the U.S. Army National Guard as a SPC 4 specialist. 

He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, past master of Masonic Fargo Lodge #300, AF&AM, A 32-degree member of the Scottish Rite of Wichita, the Order of Eastern Star 104 and Rainbow Girls. 

He also enjoyed fishing, hunting and woodworking, but he especially liked spoiling his grandchildren. 

Survivors also include daughter, Tracie (Ray) Moree, Liberal; brothers, Howard Coffman, Rathdrum, Idaho, and Eldon Coffman, Lawton, Okla.; and three granddaughters: Heather Moree, Liberal, Stephenie Moree, Liberal, and Jessica Moree, Liberal. 

He is preceded in death by his parents; infant daughter, Paula; and siblings, Norma Fredrick and Jimmy Lee Barlow.

• Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 11, 2018 at the Brenneman Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jerry Odle presiding. 

Burial will be at Restlawn Cemetery in Liberal, with graveside services by Masonic Lodge # 300 and The American Legion.

Friends may call from 3 to 7 p.m. Friday, August 10, 2018 at Brenneman Funeral Home in Liberal. 

Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society or to assist the family with financial expenses in care of Brenneman Funeral Home and Cremation Services 1212 W. 2nd St. Liberal, KS 67901.
