martha norallMartha Jeanne DeLaFosse Norall, 87, died Thursday, May 31, 2018 in Grapevine, Texas.  

She was born June 19, 1930 to Clifford Moody DeLaFosse and Zula Butler DeLaFosse in Palestine, Texas.    

She married Roger Swanson Norall April 24, 1954 at the First United Methodist Church in Palestine, Texas. He preceded her in death.

She graduated from Palestine High in 1947 and from Sam Houston State University with a B.A. in Education in 1951.  Her career in education lasted 31 years and included teaching in Marshall, Texas, Texas City, Texas and Liberal. 

She enjoyed many pastimes including toile painting, antiquing, needlework, and writing and illustrating stories for her grandchildren and other children in her life. 

She was a member of Marvin United Methodist Church in Tyler, Texas and enjoyed special friendships through the Chapel Sunday School class there.  

She was also a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, the United Daughters of the Confederacy, and the Hump Bump Lunch group.
