miguel carrascoULYSSES – Miguel Angel Carrasco, 52, died Friday, July 5, 2019 in Hemphill County, Texas. 

He was born Nov. 29, 1966 to Miguel and Socorro Carrasco in La Regina, Chihuahua, Mexico.

He moved to the United States in 1985 and began working in the oil field industry. He was currently an operator for North Star Well Service in Woodward, Okla.   

He loved spending time with his family, music, watching boxing, and baseball.

Survivors include his wife, Maria Ordonez, Woodward, Oklah.; sons, Miguel Angel Carrasco Jr., Woodward, Okla., and Raul Roman Ordonez, Woodward, Okla.; daughter, Anneth Socorro Carrasco, Ulysses; brother, Ramon Francisco Carrasco, Liberal; sisters: Maria Nieto, Liberal, Martina Carrasco, Liberal, and Rosa Aragon, Cheyenne Wells, Colo.; and four grandchildren: Alexa Ordonez, Raquel Ordonez, Mary Jane Ordonez, and Analeah Garcia.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

• Vigil and rosary services will be at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, July 11, 2019 at Mary, Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Ulysses. 

Funeral mass will be at 11 a.m. Friday, July 12, 2019 at Mary, Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Ulysses with Reverend Aneesh Parapparattu, MSFS presiding. 

Burial will follow at Ulysses Cemetery. 

Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday, July 11, 2019 at Garnand Funeral Home in Ulysses.
