mark leeELKHART – Mark Steven Lee, 66, died Saturday, Oct. 5, 2019 at his home in Morton County. 

He was born Nov. 17, 1952 to Henry Mark and Rose Marie (Horton) Lee in Elkhart.

He married Gena Turner on September 21, 1984. She preceded him in death in 2010.

He was a cowboy, saddle maker, leather and wood crafter. 

He loved to read and be outdoors and could often be found driving the countryside, riding horses, or arrowhead hunting with his faithful companion, Blue.

Survivors include sons, Zach Lee and wife, Michelle, Boulder, Colo., and Lance Lee and wife, Ashley, Garden City; daughter, Stevi James and husband, Adam, Boise City, Okla.; brothers, Galen Lee and wife, Vienna, Elkhart, and Rick Lee, Elkhart; sister, Marcala Arheart and husband, Robert, Elkhart; four grandchildren: Evan, Brylee, and Dexter Lee, and Liv James; and many nieces and nephews.

He was also preceded in death by his parents.

• Graveside services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 12, 2019 at Elkhart Cemetery with Jess Lee presiding.
