lowell jonesJOHNSON – Lowell W. Jones, 84, died Saturday, Nov. 30, 2019 at St. Catherine Hospital in Garden City. 

He was born Dec. 24, 1934 to Harold and Georgella (Hoffman) Jones on the family farm in the township of Roanoke. 

He married May Rutlege Sept. 17, 1956 in Reno, Nev. She preceded him in death May 25, 2002. 

He married Pat Lane July 4, 2005 in Johnson. She survives. 

He entered into military service Dec. 4, 1952 and he was a corporal in the US Army.

He was a Master Electrician for more than 40 years, owning L&M Electric and the Western Auto Store. 

He was a member of the Scottish Rite Masonic Lodge #441 for more than 50 years. 

Survivors also include daughters, Misty Neuman and Linda Briggs; son, John Holder; stepdaughter, Debbie Lijewski; stepson, Greg Kokemueller; siblings: Betty Drew, Gwen Barrett, Jerry Jones and wife Sandy, and Nancy Banuelos and husband, Octavio; grandchildren: Michael Roark, Ryan Neuman, Kelly Holder, and Kyle Holder; several great-grandchildren. 

He was also preceded in death by his parents; son, Edward; daughter, Tina; brother, Keith; and sister, Cindy.

• Memorial services took place Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2019 at Fields Memorial Wesleyan Church with Reverend Kurt Rovenstine presiding. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Masonic Lodge #441 in care of Garnand Funeral Home, PO Box 715, Johnson, KS 67855.
