lawrence quatrroneLawrence R. Quattrone, 78, died Thursday, Feb. 7, 2019 at Wheatridge Park Care Center in Liberal. 

He was born May 22, 1940 to Phillip and Christine (Morris) Quattrone in Allegeny, N.Y. 

He married Gloria Rangel Aug. 2, 1986 in Liberal. She survives.

He received a bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering from the University of Cincinnati, Ohio and Letourneau University in Longview, Texas.

He was the chief pilot for National Beef.

He was a member of the Airplane Owners and Pilots Association, and a supporting member of the Boy’s Club, and donated to the scholarship Program of Letourneau University.

Survivors include son, Larry and wife, Georgia, Edmond, Okla.; five daughters: Ava Quattrone, Liberal, Tamar Gillotti and husband, Anthony, Los Angeles, Kim Mize and husband, Jack, White Deer, Texas, Lynn Lynch, Augusta, and Terri Davis, Salt Lake City; three sisters: Mary DeLong, Olean, N.Y., Gloria Styger, Mesa, Ariz., and June Rogers, Hudson Falls, N.Y.; 10 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Violet Hall and Daisy Jeffries; and brother, Phillip Quattrone.

• Memorial services will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2019 at Brenneman Funeral Home at 1212 W. 2nd Street in Liberal. 

Friends may call from 12 to 8 p.m. Monday, February 11, 2019 at Brenneman Funeral Home at 1212 W. 2nd Street in Liberal.
