John William Haddock, 75, died Friday, Oct. 29 at the Norman Veteran Center in Norman, Okla. 

He was born to Charles and LaVerne Haddock in Tulsa, Okla.

He received his undergraduate and graduate degrees from the University of Kansas and was a lifelong Jayhawk. 

A decorated Vietnam veteran, he retired from both the Armed Services and the Federal Civilian Service. 

He enjoyed performing, include singing for civic and sports events, lodges, retirement facilities, luaus, and church events and services. 

Survivors include his wife, Carolyn; son, David Haddock and wife, Rosalia; daughter, Anjanette Ceron and husband, Erik; stepson, Scott McDonald and wife, Laura; stepdaughter, Anne Dalton and husband, John; sisters, Jean Foster, Liberal, and SanDee Holterman, Oklahoma City; grandchildren: Christopher, Melanie, Ingrid, Michelle, Erik, Alexander, Finley, Pierce, Maudeline, and Evan; many nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Charles Lee Haddock and Robert Shore; and granddaughter, Melissa Ceron.

• Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Nov. 8, 2019 at St. Christopher’s Episcopal Church in Midwest City, Okla. 

Burial will take place at the Resthaven Cemetery in Shawnee, Okla.

Memorials are suggested to St. Christopher’s Episcopal Church.
