jimmy ketcherside iiJimmy Ray "Jimbo" Ketcherside II, 41, died Friday, Jan. 4, 2019 at the Meade District Hospital in Meade. 

He was born Sept. 22, 1977 to Jimmy and Donna (Johnson) Ketcherside in Guymon, Okla. 

He graduated from Southwestern Heights High School with the Class of 1997. 

He worked for many places but enjoyed working as a cowboy for Bar W Ranch, Harvey's Electric, and as a self employed welder in particular. 

He loved animals including his two dogs Rip and Oscar. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, welding, the outdoors and spending time with his daughter, Rylee Ray.

Survivors include his mother, Donna Ketcherside and long-time companion, Mark Kneeland, Plains; daughter, Rylee Ray Ketcherside and Rylee's mother, Kayla Saucedo, Plains; sister, Monica Ray Cox, Plains; brother, Chad Esser, Park City; grandmother, Patricia Ann Johnson, Guymon, Okla.; three uncles: Robbie Johnson and wife, Kelly, Goodwell, Okla., JB and Darlene Ketcherside, Guymon, Okla., and Ronnie Ketcherside, Kiowa, Okla.; aunts, Charlotte Cesarano, Guymon, Okla., and Nancy Johnson, Guymon, Okla.; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father; stepfather, JB Esser; grandfather, Robert C. Johnson; grandparents, Joe and Mary Ketcherside; uncle, Randy Johnson; and aunt, Mary Jo Ketcherside.

• Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 12, 2019, at the First United Methodist Church in Plains with Pastor Terry Mayhew presiding. 

Cremation will follow the service.

Friends may call from 1 to 8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 11, 2019 at Miller Mortuary in Liberal.
