james mayMOSCOW – James “Doug” Douglas May, 55, died Friday, May 17, 2019 at his home in Moscow.

He was born April 13, 1964 to Eldon “Tub” and Shirley (Davis) May in Hugoton. 

He married Sherri Brown Jan. 14, 2008 in Las Vegas. She survives.

He was a very proud farmer that is what he loved to do. 

He was an air pilot and loved to fly around the countryside. 

Survivors also include his mother; brothers, Davis May and wife, Terri, Moscow, and Daryl May and wife, Stephanie, Moscow; sisters, Shelia Snyder and husband, Lance, Moscow, and Sharlene May and companion, Stacey, Ulysses; three stepdaughters: Brittani Pflughoeft, Hoisington, Lexi Nettleingham, Hoisington, and Jordan Rentz and husband, Kenton, Hoisington; stepson, Kolton Nettleingham, Galatia; and five step-grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by his father; and sister, Shari.

• Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at the Moscow Cemetery in Moscow with Pastor Patty Lahey presiding. 

Friends may call from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. today at Robson Funeral Home in Hugoton.  The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. 

A memorial has been established for Pheasant Heaven Charities and/or St. Catharine’s Hospice. Memorials may be mailed to Robson Funeral Home, P.O. Box 236, Hugoton, KS 67951.
