Elizabeth K. Delay, 54, died Saturday, March 16, 2019 at the Western Prairie Senior Living Center in Ulysses after a long illness.

She was born March 29, 1964 to J. George and Eleanor (Martin) Kambouris in Durango, Colo. 

She married Lonnie Delay Aug. 26, 1987 in Lubbock, Texas. He preceded her in death on Aug. 2, 2017.

She graduated from Alton High School in Alton, Mo. in 1982 and Texas Tech in Lubbock Texas with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1987. 

She was a sharpshooter while attending Texas Tech. 

She was a Member of St. Andrew Episcopal Church in Liberal, and the Liberal Rotary Club.

She was a very respected investor with Edward Jones in Hugoton, Vice President in the trust department at First National Bank, She worked as an examiner FDIC. 

She enjoyed reading, listening to Celtic and praise music, and loved her pets. 

She enjoyed traveling.

Survivors include her parents; son, Jacob Delay, Salina; daughter, Anna Delay, Lubbock, Texas; and sister, Sara Kambouris, West Plains, Mo.

• Funeral services took place Tuesday, March 19 at the First Presbyterian Church in Liberal with Reverend Jeffery Mitchell presiding. 

Burial will take place in Durango, Colo.
