dreama williamsULYSSES – Dreama “Susie” Sue Williams, 72, died Friday, Sept. 6, 2019 at Bob Wilson Memorial Hospital in Ulysses. 

She was born March 11, 1947 to Homer Deuell and Geraldine Loretta (Hanna) Slagle in Lebanon, Ind.

She married Richard “Dick” Devon Williams Feb. 27, 1966 in Lebanon. He survives.

She graduated in 1965 from Lebanon High School. 

She drove trucks and combines for the custom cutting company she and Dick owned. 

She enjoyed crafting, quilting, scrapbooking, and photography. 

She was an accomplished seamstress, wedding planner, and also made wedding flowers and other floral arrangements. 

Survivors also include sons, Shane Williams, Guymon, Okla., and Robert Williams, Erie, Colo.; daughter, Lisa Palmer, Tulsa, Okla.; brother, David Slagle, Ft. Myers, Fla.; nine grandchildren: Clariessa Ann Thompkins, Seth Ryan Williams, Dakota Lane Taylor, Braden Dwain Palmer, Trevor Michael Williams, Treyton Jacob Williams, Regan Delayne Williams, Heidi Joelle Williams, and Mylee Rae Williams; three great-grandchildren: Isabella Ann Williams, Autumn Ann Williams, and Thea Ann Wiliams; brothers and sisters-in-law: J.J. and Judy Williams, Stratford, Texas, M. Leon and Brenda Williams, Yuma, Ariz., Ronald and Cheri Williams, Satanta, and Rodney and Georgia Williams, Yuma, Ariz.; and nephews and nieces: Justin Slagle, Merlene Dean, Stratford, Texas, Grant Todd Williams, Houston, Laura Barker, Bedford, Ind., Michael Williams, Ind., David Williams, Manhattan, Daniel Williams, Fort Hays, Nathaniel Williams, Houston, Kathy Wyer, Ulysses, Kenneth Williams, Manhattan, and Kimberly Williams, Holcomb.

She was preceded in death by her father, Homer Slagle; mother and step-father, Geraldine and Lionel Detamore; brother, Jeffrey Brendt Slagle; and nephew, John D. Williams.

• Memorial services will be at 3 p.m. today at Garnand Funeral Home Chapel in Ulysses with Pastor Gerry DuPuis presiding.
