connie richmeierConnie Alice Richmeier, 77, died Saturday, Nov. 23, 2019 at Wheatridge Park Care Center in Liberal.

She was born Aug. 7, 1942 to Robert Page and Lillian Royston Page in Newton.

She married Gerald J. Richmeier Sept. 16 1967 in Hesston. He preceded her in death April 21, 2018.

She worked for Central Kansas Medical Center in Great Bend, the Wichita Clinic in Wichita, and Southwest Medical Center in Liberal as a medical technologist.

She was a member of the Hospital Auxiliary in Liberal. She was the district coordinator for H.A.K of the V.F.W. Auxiliary in Liberal, and was a member of the American Society of Clinical Pathologists and the U.S. Bowling Congress. 

She was vice regent of the Daughter of the American Revolution from 2015 to 2017 and was chapter regent from 2017 to 2019.

Survivors include son, Craig Allen Richmeier, Liberal; daughter, Geraldine Joan and husband, Rick Moats, Wichita; brother, Virgil and wife, Margarite Page, Hutchinson; grandson, Michael Lopez; three great-grandchildren: Kalea, Michael and Jaden Lopez. She will also be missed by her miniature pinscher Millie.

She was also preceded in death by her parents.

• Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Dec. 6, 2019 at the Brenneman Funeral Home Chapel in Liberal with Rev. Ted Stoeckline presiding.

Burial will be at 1:30 p.m. at the Kansas Veterans’ Cemetery at Fort Dodge in Dodge City.

Friends may call from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 5, 2019 at the Brenneman Funeral Home Chapel in Liberal.

Memorials are suggested to St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church in Care of Brenneman Funeral Home.
