brian quimbySUBLETTE – Brian Kelly Quimby, 52, died Sunday, Nov. 4, 2018 in Haskell County. 

He was born Oct. 18, 1966 to Dennie Lee and Vivian Viola (Randle) Quimby in Guymon, Okla. 

He married Meredith Hall Oct. 2, 1993 at the Methodist Church in Sublette. She survives.

He graduated from Sublette High School in 1986.  

He worked for Seward County and later for Haskell County as a road maintainer. 

He enjoyed hunting, working on his truck, and everything OU.

He was a member of the NRA.

Survivors also include his mother; son, Ryan Quimby and wife, Maddy, Hays; three brothers: Glen Quimby and wife, Connie, Satanta, Michael Quimby, Larned, and Jeffery Quimby, Borne, Texas; sister, Fran Lothman and husband, Shane, Wharton, Texas; parents-in-law, Pete and Bev Hall, Sublette; brother-in-law, John Hall and wife, Misti, Sublette; sisters-in-law, Marilyn Kane, Wichita, and Robin Knight and fiancé, Paul Brown, Norman, Okla.; and many other family and friends. 

He was preceded in death by his father.

• Memorial services will be at 11:30 a.m. Friday, Nov. 9, 2018 at Sublette United Methodist Church in Sublette with Mr. Russ Brandon presiding. 

Friends may call from 1 to 5 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 8, 2018 at Swaim Funeral Chapel in Sublette. 

Cremation has taken place and there will be a private family burial at a later time. 

Memorials are suggested to the Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks (KDWP) for Southwest Kansas Youth Hunt in care of the funeral home.
