bobby oderHUGOTON – Bobby Lee Oder, 88, died Tuesday, Nov. 5, 2019 at Stevens County Hospital in Hugoton.

He was born Jan. 19, 1931 to Wayne Joseph and Margret (Hamilton) Oder in Stevens County. 

He married Claudine Mae (Beavers) Oder May 27, 1950 in Liberal. She preceded him in death Sept. 30, 2003.

He was a member of Hugoton VFW.

He enjoyed fishing, coyote hunting and going to auctions with his family. 

Survivors include sons, Fred Oder and wife, Patricia, Canyon, Texas, and Tom Oder and wife, Leslie, Hugoton; three daughters: Carrie Williams and husband, Jay, Elkhart, Sandy Schmidt, Cimarron, and Linda Kates and husband Rick, Hugoton; 15 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.

He was also preceded in death by his parents; two infant brothers; and sisters, Esther Schroeder and Mary Harms.

• Graveside services took place Friday, Nov. 8, 2019 at the Hugoton Cemetery in Hugoton.

Memorials have been established for Assembly of God Church.  Memorials may be mailed to Robson Funeral Home-Box 236, Hugoton, KS 67951.
