The Cannons trimmed the lead to three when they scored in the eighth, but the Bee Jays roughed up the Cannons bullpen in the ninth, pushing three more runs across the plate to take an 8-2 lead.

Goodrich closed the door on the Cannons in the ninth to preserve the 8-2 win.
