Liberal citizens were invited to “Come Fly Away” with the Liberal Chamber of Commerce at this year’s Chamber Bash Saturday evening. 

The Chamber recognized several businesses and individuals throughout the evening. In the table decorating contest, first place went to Golden Plains Credit Union, second place went to Equity Bank, and third place went to Byron Bird and Associates. Sunflower Bank came away as the winner of the Peoples Choice award for the evening, and Liberal Memorial Library won the Best Use Of a Prop award.

In other awards, Brad Carr won the Best Dressed Male while Celeste Donovan was the Best Dressed Female. Joe and Elizabeth Denoyer were recognized as the Best Dressed Couple on the evening.

The annual “Friend of the Chamber” Award was presented to Southwest Medical Center, Kevin Alexander was awarded the Joy Fosdick Ambassador of the Year Award, and Gary Dunnam was the recipient of this year’s Liberal Chamber of Commerce Merit Award winner, which was presented by 2018 winner Shannon Francis. 

In other prizes, Reita Issacs and Pat Parker both won a pair of round-trip tickets to Denver courtesy of United Airlines operated by SkyWest.
