The Community Enhancement Foundation of Plains is inviting everyone to Meade State Lake Saturday, Aug. 24, for the annual “BoomBozz (Wild Crazy Fun) 5K run/walk.”

Foundation officials are promising a beautiful place to be with mostly shade and a view of the lake the entire time.

Registration starts at 7 a.m., with the run/walk starting at 8 a.m. Participants will be able to do a “Splash N Dash” for prizes following the 5K.

For registration form, private message Jeanne Roberts or any members of the CEFOP, including Karen Winfrey, Silvia Olvera, Monica Correll, Jonathan Elliott and Lindsey Roberts, on Facebook.

Registration forms can also be picked up at the Plains State Bank, Plains Post Office, Plains Library, Kismet Post Office, Bob’s in Meade, Meade Thriftway, Meade Loves and at the student union at Seward County Community College.

Hope to see you there.
