A Satanta woman suffered a suspected minor injury following an accident Monday afternoon in Seward County.

The Kansas Highway Patrol said the accident occurred shortly after 5 p.m. Monday when a 2015 Cadillac XTS was westbound about one and a half miles west on Kansas Highway 190 from U.S. Highway 83 about 17 miles north of Liberal.

The vehicle, KHP said, struck a piece of paving equipment moving eastbound on Hwy. 190.

The Cadillac’s driver, Genevieve O. Stanley, 90, of Satanta, was taken to Satanta District Hospital with a suspected minor injury. She was wearing her seat belt at the time of the accident, according to KHP.
