All the honorees were praised by the commission at the end of the meeting.

“I want to congratulate the 12 employees who were recognized for their 10 years of service and the three who were recognized for their 25 years of service,” Liberal Mayor Connie Seigrist said. “You all are amazing.”

“I want to congratulate everyone who was recognized this evening,” Liberal Vice Mayor Taylor Harden added. “One of my favorite things about going up to Topeka for the League meetings or things like that is they always have in the back of the pamphlets all the different employees from around the state who have been with their cities 10, 25, 40 years and that’s just amazing and it’s great to see so many from Liberal. Thank all of you staff for everything you do.”
