Industrial skills needed to keep America’s economy moving forward are learned at Seward County Community College’s technical school

In its early days, it was known as Liberal Area Vo-Tech. It later became Southwest Kansas Technical School before merging with Seward County Community College.
Now it is simply known as the Industrial Technology (IT) campus of SCCC, but no matter the name, for about five decades, students have been coming to Liberal to learn a technical skill or trade at the school.
